This picture originally looked really washed out in the color version - I thought it was a dud. When I threw it in B&W, though, the emotion on the dog’s face really popped!

I’m pretty sure he’s making those delicious donuts. I had to walk for like 10 minutes to find a good spot to shoot him from without him noticing…

When I first took this picture, I was like “Oh. A kid on a bike. That’s kind of interesting”. I assumed it actually sucked. In post I noticed the guy staring at him with disgust - awesome.

On my hike back to the visitor’s center, I wasn’t really taking many pictures. I had seen it all, and was fairly exhausted. I got to a stretch where it was real quiet and no one else was around. I just happened to glance right and see a dark spot in the tree. A BALD EAGLE! Frantically, I switched to my telephoto lens, and quietly got every shot I could. Unfortunately, in my haste, I didn’t notice the branch that was somewhat obscuring my view!

Directly underneath the ice fall was a giant mound of frozen drips. This picture doesn’t show the scale, but the pile was probably 3 feet tall, all of tiny bubble like this!

The ice here was a result of the drips from a ice fall. Apparently it wasn’t solid enough to maintain its own weight over the ground.
